After more than a decade spent working with OMF in Cambodia, in 2010 Louise took up a new post back in the UK as OMF's Director for Candidates and Member Care.
Louise's extensive practical experience of mission whilst in Cambodia equips her well for this demanding role. It necessitates the coordination of OMF volunteers around the country, managing the selection of candidates to work overseas and ensuring support and care for them when they return. In this role Louise travels widely, strengthening links with OMF members and churches around the country.
During her time in Cambodia, Louise built up extensive experience in health and social projects and of urban church planting. Since 2005, she coordinated the orientation and training of new OMF workers in Cambodia and it is easy to see how this experience and her God-given gifts equip her well for the demands of her current, highly strategic role in mobilising people to work in East Asia.
Louise grew up within NBC and although now living in Borough Green in Kent, is a regular and always-welcome visitor when able to renew friendship with us.
