The NBC website was developed by a previous NCB webmaster using the following applications:
XAMPP - A combined Apache, MySQL & PHP development package.
Images have been edited & created using the GIMP, a Photoshop style image editor.
The calendar in the administrator pages was provided by dhtmlgoodies.
The text editor in the administrator pages was provided by OpenWYSIWYG.

The favicon was created using a free on-line tool.

This website has been optimised for viewing using the Firefox web browser.


Media Tools:

NBC sermons are recorded onto CD which are then imported, as a mono file, using BoncEnc.

The MP3's metadata is set to:
  • Title: Date of sermon,
  • Artist: Speaker's name,
  • Album: Northchurch Baptist Church,
  • Genre: Speech.
Once imported as MP3 files the sermons are edited and processed (mono. 32KHz sample rate, bit rate 32Kbps) using Audacity.
