Sundays

Each Sunday we gather together for worship, teaching and fellowship.

Sundays are an important part of our week at NBC but our focus isn't solely on them. We encourage everyone to get connected in our lifegroups which happen throughout the week for effective discipleship and community.

Sunday Morning - 10:30am - @The Social Centre
Sunday Evening - 7:00pm - @NBC

Our morning service is family friendly. With worship and teaching for all ages through the main service and kids groups that run at the same time. It ends around 12pm in time to get your kids from their groups. This is held at the Social Centre, just up Bell Lane.

Our preaching through advent will look at lessons in waiting, obedience and watching, as well as lessons from the heavens, all linking to passages and characters from the Christmas story.

In the evening we worship, we pray, we see what God does. Sometimes it’s a reflective service, sometimes it’s a loud celebration, we’ll even have the occasional Q&A and a cafe style church. Come with an open heart to see what God wants to do and say.

The pattern for evening services through the month is as follows:

First Sunday - STILL (a chance to worship, reflect, receive prayer and take communion)

Second Sunday - GATHER (our cafe style service)

Third Sunday - DEEPER (an opportunity to worship and then receive deeper teaching)

Fourth Sunday - CELEBRATE (an evening of declaration and praise, mostly in worship)

Fifth Sunday - THANKS (When there’s a fifth Sunday we’ll focus on giving thanks through testimonies, stories & prayer)

Kids groups

Every Sunday morning we have a number of kids groups so that they can learn while you do. These are run by our brilliant kids team volunteers (overseen by our Children and Families worker, Mary-Ann). They do crafts, learning, activities and games.

There's something for every age group.

Crèche - Under 3s
Sparklers - Preschool to Year 2
Primary - Year 2 to Year 6

Fusion - Year 7 - 13

Occasionally in the morning service we have a family service suited for every age so you can worship, pray and learn as a family.
